Weekend day work parties
generally meet at the campus one day every other
weekend. These are for dome construction and the
many other building, maintenance, and cleanup tasks
that keep the campus growing and clean. Some jobs
are skilled (Dome roofing) and some are simple
(clean-up, painting, landscaping) - something for
every interest. We work from
8 AM,
beginning with a simple opening ceremony, and end
sometime in the afternoon - but come at any
time.
Bring your sun hat and work gloves (we have loaners
if you need them). Lunch and plenty of beverages
are provided, as well as
$35 in Beaver Bucks
(applicable to any class fee), healthy exercise,
and camaraderie. There's a
dreamcatcher bag
and
embroidered emblem
for the new folks!
The Blessed Beavers are anyone who volunteers to help build the Ardantane campus.
