Ardantane's land is jointly owned by Los Alamos National Bank, the non-profit school (Ardantane Incorporated), and myself and Azrael, who originally purchased the land.

Ardantane presently owes $63,533.88 in principal to the bank. We have been paying about $958 each month toward principal and interest. I spoke with a Senior Vice President at LANB last week, and have rearranged the terms slightly. We will now pay $500 each two weeks. The result is that we will eventually pay $1500 less in interest, and pay off the mortgage in April of 2016, about a year earlier than was planned.

That means that five and a half years from now, the bank will no longer own any part of Ardantane.

BUT we have to get through the next five and a half years. That's where you come in. If you want to see Ardantane thrive, as Pagan-owned land for us and future generations, perhaps you will consider making a regular monthly contribution to pay off the bank mortgage on the land.

If just 33 people were to contribute $30 each month, we would have the bank mortgage payments covered. Presently, some folks contribute $10 a month. One contributes $200 a month. What could you "put in the cauldron" without stress?

The simplest way to handle it is to contact your bank and set up an automatic payment each month, so they send a check to Ardantane (P.O. Box 307, Jemez Springs NM 87025). If your bank has no bill-paying service, you can set it up through Paypal or your credit card. Contributions are tax-deductible.
