Pagan Ethics Class Jan. 16 at Ardantane

Merry Meet!

If you concerned about issues of right and wrong, and would like to
explore the Pagan perspective on ethics, come join us for a day of
lively discussion and fascinating exercises at Ardantane:

The Rede and Beyond: Ethics for Pagans
Saturday, January 16
9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Fee: $60
NOTE: Some financial aid is available; contact
ardantane-director@ardantane.org if you need a reduced fee/work-study
assistance)

We will be looking at: What is "right living?" What are the ethical and
moral codes that have guided humanity through the ages? What behavioral
codes guided the ancient Babylonians and Egyptians, and Celts? How can
you tell right from wrong? Let's look at the Wiccan Rede and the Nine
Noble Virtues in relation to the ethical codes of Buddhism, Hinduism,
Christianity and the rest. Exercises, discussion, role-playing, and
cool handouts. This subject is fascinating for anyone who cares about
living mindfully, and is essential for Pagan priestesses and priests.
ETHICS IS A REQUIRED CLASS FOR ALL ARDANTANE CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS.

The class will be held in a warm, comfortable setting--Hawk Haven
unless we have too many--and yummy refreshments are provided. Bring
your own bag lunch. Afterward, some or all of us may go out to dine at
a local restaurant. Free overnight accommodations Friday evening or
Saturday or both, if you need them.
