MUD and Imbolg at Ardantane
Thursday, Feb 4 2010 06 PM
Hi Folks,
Just a reminder that the Imbolg sabbat will be celebrated tomorrow night (Friday Feb. 5) at Ardantane. We will gather starting at 6:00 pm, in the Dome, and enjoy a potluck feast afterward. Imbolg is also known as Oimelc, February Eve, Brigit's Eve, and Candlemas, celebrates the the first signs of spring and Brigit, the Celtic goddess of poetry, healing, and smithcraft. We plan to sing, walk an indoor labyrinth, make candles, eat delicious stuff (if you bring it), and generally have a great time.
However -- MUD ALERT -- as of this evening, Thursday, the road from State Hwy. 4 up to Ardantane is VERY MUDDY. Our all-wheel drive made it, and four-wheel drive should be no problem. And tomorrow the roads may dry off a lot. But if you have a front-wheel drive, you may want to consider car-pooling with someone driving a more robust vehicle. Or park at the little grocery around the corner on Hwy. 4, and call us at 505-469-7777 or 505-469-3307 for pickup.
Blessed be, Amber for Ardantane
