DESCRIPTION:Controversial scholarship in recent decades makes the case for hidden traditions of worship that have existed for thousands of millennia\, sometimes dissipating\, sometimes repressed\, but ever-returning. Some call this The Religion With No Name\, and a key component is the use of hallucinogenic organic material to prepare a sacrament that transports its devotees to see beyond this mortal coil\, meeting with spirits and ancestors. Advanced chemical analyses have detected evidence of this as far back as Gobekli Tepi\, Catal Hoyuk\, Eleusis\, and even into early Christian rituals. \nAs curious Druid seekers\, we sought and discovered many similar clues in the vast lore we study that suggest this technique was also used by Celts who trained in mystery teachings. She was an English major in college\, and was hoping to figure out how to read books for a living. That didn’t work out\, and she figured out another way to support herself. But reading remains her first love. DESCRIPTION:Tara Keine and other members of the Crow Women will lead this fun evening of pagan chant. We’ll teach a few favorite chants and all sing “together” in a circle of song. Don’t worry—you’ll get to stay muted (otherwise the gods of internet bandwidth will wreak havoc on our timing)\, so whether you are confident in your voice or not\, you can enjoy singing along to these easy-to-learn chants and hopefully sink into that sacred space where only song can take us. \nThe Crow Women have been an important part of the pagan community in the Rocky Mountain West for many years. They are an a capella choir from Durango\, Colorado. They sing songs for rites of passage and other ceremonies in the Goddess tradition. DESCRIPTION:Tour of the Zodiac & the Astrological Houses \nIn this final introductory (class) *seminar*\, we will look at the houses *and signs*\, the influence they have on the planets that occupy them at any given time\, and some of their functions and relationships. From there\, we’ll discuss the triplicities and quadruplicities and what they mean. Come join us! \nMoonbeam Mage caught a glimpse of the path that might be some twenty-five years ago. Fifteen years ago she heard herself asserting that she was on that path\, and has solidly placed one foot after the other upon it since. In 2010 she found Ardantane and began her pursuit of all that formal training in the Craft could offer. In 2014\, she received the Ardantane Level Three\, Master of Magick and Witchcraft Certificate. She is also a third degree initiate of the Ladywood tradition of the Craft. \nRowan (Laura Liles) has been involved in the Pagan/Wiccan community in northern New Mexico since 1986. A third degree initiate in the Ladywoods tradition\, she has taught Magick and Witchcraft extensively at Ardantane\, at Merry Meet\, Pagan Spirit Gathering (PSG)\, Magickal Mountian Mabon and Dragonfest.
