Join Rowan for a brief overview of basic Magickal tools and an online consecration ritual. \nRowan has been active in the pagan community of northern New Mexico for over 35 years. She is a third degree initiate of the Ladywoods tradition and currently serves as the Dean of the School of Magick and Witchcraft at Ardantane. In her mundane life\, she holds a BS in education from UT El Paso\, and an MBA from UNM. She has taught at festivals in New Mexico and Colorado and nationally\, but enjoys teaching at Ardantane the most. \nNOTE THAT THIS IS AN ONLINE EVENT. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a virtual gathering to honor Ostara\, the Spring Equinox\, a time of balance\, renewal\, and the blossoming of new beginnings. This online ritual will focus on celebrating the vibrant energy of the season as we welcome the return of light and growth. Let’s celebrate the promise of Spring with joy\, hope\, and the magic of renewal! Participants in the Creating Ritual class on February 27th will be helping to design and present this ritual. \nNote that this is an ONLINE ritual. We will also host an in-person Ostara celebration at the Ardantane campus. Details about that celebration are HERE. \nOur journey will be guided by Azrael Arynn K. Azrael Arynn K has been a Wiccan priestess for over thirty years\, and is a celebrated author\, teacher\, and leader within the Pagan community. She has degrees in criminal justice\, law\, and architecture. She is the Dean of the School of Sacred Living and Director of Facilities at Ardantane Pagan school and retreat center\, headquartered in northern New Mexico; see ardantane.org. SUMMARY:Online Beltane Ritual 2026
DESCRIPTION:Beltane or Bealtaine is the Celtic May Day festival celebrated by modern pagans as one of our main Sabbats. Falling at a point midway between the spring equinox and the summer solstice\, Beltane festivities often focus on fire\, fertility\, and community. We will spend the evening with a quick overview of Beltane traditions and then delve into our own online version of a Beltane ritual\, celebrated together across space and time as our ancestors could surely could never have imagined. \n Lora Jackson Legare has been a practicing Wiccan for 35 years. She is a professional archaeologist\, professor of anthropology\, artist and writer. She has led numerous public rituals in southern New Mexico and conducted workshops and classes on developing connections with Celtic Goddesses and Gods\, stone magick\, and magickal correspondences\, and led many guided meditations. \nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane.
