SUMMARY:Volunteer Work Day
DESCRIPTION:This coming Saturday\, February 11\, you are invited to come to a work party at Ardantane… and earn\, or re-earn\, the noble designation of “Ardantane Blessed Beaver.” \nWe will gather about 9:00 am\, and work until 3 or 4\, whenever we reach a logical stopping place. The weather forecast for Saturday is a pleasant high of 48 degrees and party sunny! \nClearing\, sorting\, and organizing are high on the agenda\, in preparation for the coming year’s program. The Great Keep\, Kitschwitch\, and the Pumpkin Shed (toolshed) all need attention. It’s pretty light work but essential! \nLunch will be provided by the incomparable Chez Cedar. \nVolunteers will receive Beaver Bucks (good for any Ardantane class\, course\, or retreat)\, fun fellowship with other volunteers\, free lunch\, and the gratitude of the Ardantane community. \nCall Azrael at 505-469-3307 or azraelak@gmail.comif you have questions or need directions. See you at Ardantane. \nVolunteers who work a “full” day—six hours or more—receive $40 in Beaver Bucks (applicable to any Ardantane event fee). Those who work 3-4 hours receive $20 in Beaver Bucks. First-timers are awarded the Blessed Beaver patch (embroidered emblem) to wear proudly on a cap or work shirt. Everyone receives free lunch and beverages\, as well as healthy exercise and camaraderie.
