SUMMARY:Identifying Poisonous Plants: How to Avoid Poisoning Yourself or Others
DESCRIPTION:Can you tell the difference between Queen Anne’s Lace and poison hemlock? Should you be concerned if your neighbor’s toddler nibbles on the Lily of the Valley growing in your yard? Just how much nutmeg is a fatal dose? How many apple seeds give you a fatal dose of cyanide? \nEmber will answer these questions\, and others\, while also providing information about which common ornamentals are toxic\, what medicinal plants require caution\, and she includes some antidotes as well as bonus material on other poisons. \nWhile the focus is on identifying poisonous plants so you don’t harm yourself or others\, Ember will also offer a brief introduction to the magickal correspondences found along the poison path. \nEmber has had a special interest in plants and herbal medicine all of her life. It started with her five-year-old self eating dandelions and tasting milkweed. Important reminder: supervise your children! Since then\, she has spent the past 50 years studying medicinal herbs\, making salves and tinctures\, and identifying as many plants as she can. \nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane. Others must register below. Be sure to add the number of tickets you want before clicking the Blue GET TICKETS button. The fee is $10. Registration closes at 5PM Mountain Time on Thursday\, October 26th.

SUMMARY:Dark Moon
DESCRIPTION:The dark moon is a time to reflect\, delve into the dark of our unconscious\, and observe ourselves with greater clarity. For many witches\, this is a very different time than that of the new moon. This evening we will explore the time when the moon is dark but it is not yet new.  Wellyssa will guide and lead us to “let that stuff go”\, shed ourselves of what does not serve us\, and how we can evaluate the previous moon cycle and fully prepare for the next.  \nWellyssa Spellsong I am an energy healer\, psychic intuitive\, Wiccan High Priestess and teacher. I provide energy healing\, chakra and aura clearing\, emotional healing/clearing\, past life regression\, soul retrieval\, and akashic records journeying. I also read the bones and oracle cards and do house clearings. During healing work\, I look into the body and both see and feel where there is pain\, fatigue\, stuck energy\, or emotional trauma which has rooted itself within the body and needs to be released. I provide healing using various modalities such as energy\, sound vibration and crystals. For PLR\, Soul Retrieval and akashic records works I work with you in a state of trance to seek answers to your questions. I can also design powerful rituals\, mantras or affirmations to help you achieve your goals and desires. I enjoy teaching the client how to do their own work and healing. My path is deeply sacred. I have claimed this work as my path and my purpose. May I be of service to you.  \nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane. Others must register below. Be sure to add the number of tickets you want before clicking the Blue GET TICKETS button. The fee is $10. Registration closes at 5PM Mountain Time on Thursday\, October 12th.

SUMMARY:Shadow Work: Finding Your Hidden Allies
DESCRIPTION:Most people have heard of Shadow Work\, and many people have done this work to varying degrees. What is one’s shadow – is it always “bad” stuff? Mark will talk about these topics and also invite others to share experiences about this hidden domain of the psyche. \nExplore this intriguing concept with Mark Arend\, who has been active in the Denver area Druid community for many years. \nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane. Others must register below. Be sure to add the number of tickets you want before clicking the Blue GET TICKETS button. The fee is $10. SUMMARY:Is Your Magickal Glass Half Full or Half Empty?
DESCRIPTION:In the 4th of the continuing 2023 Moon Series presented by Colorado Witches\, Lydia Smith and D Garret will explore the magickal workings best done at a quarter moon. Witches often do magick on the new and full moons\, but the quarter moon provides powerful Moon energy also. The Quarter Moon shows only half Her face – is the magickal glass half full or half empty? In this second part of the presentation by D and Lydia\, we will continue to explore how the moon phases affect our creativity.  And\, we will focus on what blocks up—specifically our inner “goblins” or “inner saboteur.” \nLydia Smith has a BA in Religion. She has been the high priestess of the Sisters of the Turquoise Moon Coven for 15 years. She is a licensed facilitator of the World Groove Movement. She has taught movement as prayer and also performance skills for rituals at workshops and at UU Churches. She is the creator and designer for VIXENFringe\, upcycling clothing to provide an alternative to fast fashion. She has also been a palm reader for over 40 years. Her creations can be seen here: https://linktr.ee/vixenfringe  \nD Garret is the owner/designer/artist at D’z Handtinkered Artisan Worx\, making hand painted art\, murals\, tools\, and gifts for living magick. D is a high priestess of the Wiica tradition and is intimate with the Moon and has created a series of full moon paintings. Her artwork can be seen here: https://www.facebook.com/Dzworx \nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane. Others must register below. Be sure to add the number of tickets you want before clicking the Blue GET TICKETS button. The fee is $10. \nRegistration closes at 5PM Mountain Time on Thursday\, September 21st.

SUMMARY:Temples and Shrines of the Ancient World
DESCRIPTION:Ancient Pagan temples were often very different from today’s mainstream-faith churches\, mosques\, synagogues. They were places to learn the Mysteries\, sacrifice to the old gods\, and even meet deity face-to-face. They also served as sanctuaries\, libraries\, and even treasuries. To modern Pagans accustomed to meeting in living rooms or backyards\, they often seem vast and otherworldly.  We will explore temples from the first known\, Gobekli Tepe in Anatolia\, to the Wat Samphran Dragon Temple\, the London Mithraeum\, a Norse God House\, and many more. You might even be inspired to build your own small temple! \nAmber K has been a Wiccan priestess for 45 years\, and loves to study the ancient Pagan faiths. \n\nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane. Others must register below. Be sure to add the number of tickets you want before clicking the Blue GET TICKETS button. SUMMARY:Folklore and Magick of Slovenia
DESCRIPTION:Slovenia is a small nation bordering Italy on the northeast\, with a deep and fascinating history\, wonderful people\, and stunning landcapes from the Piran seacoast to fertile vineyards to the Julian Alps. \nFour Pagans went there to explore\, and immersed themselves in the countryside and cities. They not only visited castles\, museums\, and caverns\, but met with some of the Elders of the Old Faiths in Slovenia. They brought back thousands of incredible photos\, and glimpses into the old religions in the predominately Catholic country. \nJoin Amber\, Azrael\, Charlie\, and Tara for this reprise of their adventures. \nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane. Others must register below. Be sure to add the number of tickets you want before clicking the Blue GET TICKETS button. The fee is $10. \nRegistration closes at 5PM Mountain Time on Thursday\, August 3rd.
