The first begins at Samhain\, a season of healing\, preparation\, and planning. It is a time of making resolutions for the coming year. Join Kerr Cuhulain of the Order of Paladins in preparing for the seasons ahead. \nKerr is the Grand Master and founder of a Wiccan order of Knighthood called the Order of Paladins\, now based in Sechelt\, British Columbia. The Order of Paladins embraces the Warrior philosophies\, precepts and code of chivalry outlined in Kerr’s books. The Order of Paladins is a study group for people interested in Wiccan magick\, energy work and rituals related to the Warrior path\, focusing on empowerment\, personal development and creative expression. We begin with a simple opening ceremony\, and end sometime in the afternoon\, usually around 4:00 PM—but you can come at any time during the day. (Some folks do special projects at other times\, to fit their personal schedules\, by arrangement with the Director.) \nVolunteers who work a “full” day—six hours or more—receive $40 in Beaver Bucks (applicable to any Ardantane event fee). Those who work 3-4 hours receive $20 in Beaver Bucks. First-timers are awarded the Blessed Beaver patch (embroidered emblem) to wear proudly on a cap or work shirt. These are a few of the questions we will explore in this seminar\, “The Magick of Moon\,” taught by Moonbeam Mage. In our astrological understanding\, Moon interacts with and responds to other actors along Her path\, the Wanderers and certain Sensitive Points. DESCRIPTION:Controversial scholarship in recent decades makes the case for hidden traditions of worship that have existed for thousands of millennia\, sometimes dissipating\, sometimes repressed\, but ever-returning. Some call this The Religion With No Name\, and a key component is the use of hallucinogenic organic material to prepare a sacrament that transports its devotees to see beyond this mortal coil\, meeting with spirits and ancestors. Advanced chemical analyses have detected evidence of this as far back as Gobekli Tepi\, Catal Hoyuk\, Eleusis\, and even into early Christian rituals. \nAs curious Druid seekers\, we sought and discovered many similar clues in the vast lore we study that suggest this technique was also used by Celts who trained in mystery teachings. Inspired by experiences within modern-day shamanic medicine ceremonies\, we created a Druid Mysteries retreat to encounter our myths and teachings in vibrant ways\, using magic mushrooms in a sacred manner. DESCRIPTION:We work from 8:00 or 9:00 AM\, depending on the season… starting earlier in summer\, later in winter. We begin with a simple opening ceremony\, and end sometime in the afternoon\, usually around 4:00 PM—but you can come at any time during the day. (Some folks do special projects at other times\, to fit their personal schedules\, by arrangement with the Director.) \nVolunteers who work a “full” day—six hours or more—receive $40 in Beaver Bucks (applicable to any Ardantane event fee). Those who work 3-4 hours receive $20 in Beaver Bucks. First-timers are awarded the Blessed Beaver patch (embroidered emblem) to wear proudly on a cap or work shirt. Everyone receives free lunch and beverages\, as well as healthy exercise and camaraderie. She was an English major in college\, and was hoping to figure out how to read books for a living. That didn’t work out\, and she figured out another way to support herself. But reading remains her first love. DESCRIPTION:The 2022 edition of the Witch’s Toolkit covers four subjects\, starting on August 9. \nAugust 9: Planting a Magickal Garden – Rowan \nAll gardens are magickal.  Learn how to bring out the magick in your garden by creatigng a nature spirits sanctuary\, researching native plants for magickal and healing properties\, communing with plant devas and more from Rowan\, who has been working on her own magickal garden for more than 20 years. \nRowan has been involved in the Pagan/Wiccan community in northern New Mexico since 1986. She has been designing rituals and facilitating groups and classes since long before she knew what she was doing. A third degree initiate in the Ladywoods tradition\, she has taught Magick and Witchcraft extensively at Ardantane\, Merry Meet\, Pagan Spirit Gathering (PSG)\, Magickal Mountian Mabon and Dragonfest. SUMMARY:Volunteer Work Day
DESCRIPTION:We work from 8:00 or 9:00 AM\, depending on the season… starting earlier in summer\, later in winter. We begin with a simple opening ceremony\, and end sometime in the afternoon\, usually around 4:00 PM—but you can come at any time during the day. (Some folks do special projects at other times\, to fit their personal schedules\, by arrangement with the Director.) \nVolunteers who work a “full” day—six hours or more—receive $40 in Beaver Bucks (applicable to any Ardantane event fee). Those who work 3-4 hours receive $20 in Beaver Bucks. First-timers are awarded the Blessed Beaver patch (embroidered emblem) to wear proudly on a cap or work shirt. Everyone receives free lunch and beverages\, as well as healthy exercise and camaraderie.
