SUMMARY:The Witch’s Pyramid
DESCRIPTION:It’s a foundation for those aspiring to work magick\, but also a tool for personal development and keeping your life in balance. Clifford Bias said “The Magus\, the Theurgist\, the True Witch stands on a pyramid of power whose foundation is a profound knowledge of the occult…” and Doreen Valiente reminded us that that “the fourth power\, to be silent\, is the most important of all\, and the most difficult to attain.” What were they talking about? Amber and Azrael\, author of a new book on the Witch’s Pyramid\, will share their insights on this profoundly important concept. \n\n \nAmber K and Azrael Arynn K are priestesses of the Wiccan faith\, as well as authors and teachers. They have more than 75 years of combined experience as clergy. They are fascinated by the technology of the sacred—how magick works—and how to share this in ritual design and through their teaching. Amber was initiated at the Temple of the Pagan Way in Chicago in 1978\, and is co-founder of the Ladywood Tradition of Wicca. She served three terms as National First Officer of Covenant of the Goddess\, the largest federation of Witches’ covens and solitary Witches. Azrael Arynn K is a celebrated author\, teacher\, ritualist\, and leader within the Pagan community. She has degrees in criminal justice\, law\, and architecture. They were handfasted in 1994\, were married a few years later\, and live and work together at Ardantane Pagan school and retreat center in northern New Mexico. Currently Amber is Executive Director and Dean of the School of Pagan Leadership\, while Azrael is Dean of the School of Sacred Living and Director of Facilities. See ardantane.org. Amber K is the author of True Magick: A Beginner’s Guide\, and Stone Witchery and Divination\, among others. Azrael designs\, co-authors\, and edits books with Amber\, including the award-winning books RitualCraft: Creating Rites for Transformation and Celebration; and Pinups Portraits and Posters: The Life and Art of Bill Randall (Amber’s dad). See their other titles at magickwithamberk.com. \nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane.  Others must register below by clicking the Blue GET TICKETS button. The fee is $10. \n\n\nRegistration closes at 5PM Mountain Time on Thursday\, October 1st. \nGet Tickets

SUMMARY:Getting Started in Interfaith Networking
DESCRIPTION:Most of us here are Pagan and deeply invested in our spiritual path\, and yet we are open to understanding compatible ideas and practices from other religions. These can expand and enrich our own connections to Spirit. Doing interfaith work can help us find these treasures of the mind and heart\, build community\, and develop friends and allies from other traditions. This program is based on a panel discussion by several Pagan elders who have worked in interfaith for years\, and includes a link to an introductory booklet to help you get started. \nAmber K is a priestess of the Wiccan faith\, as well as an author and teacher. She was initiated at the Temple of the Pagan Way in Chicago in 1978\, and is co-founder of the Ladywood Tradition of Wicca. She served three terms as National First Officer of Covenant of the Goddess\, the largest federation of Witches’ covens and solitary Witches. She has been teaching and writing about the Craft and magick for more than 45 years. Currently Amber is Executive Director\, and Dean of the School of Pagan Leadership\, at Ardantane Pagan school and retreat center; see ardantane.org. Amber and Azrael Arynn K were handfasted in 1994\, and married a few years later. They live in northern New Mexico at the Ardantane campus\, where they teach and write books. Amber K is the author of True Magick: A Beginner’s Guide\, and Stone Witchery and Divination\, and has co-authored several other books with Azrael\, including the award-winning RitualCraft: Creating Rites for Transformation and Celebration. See their other titles at magickwithamberk.com. \n\nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane.  Others must register below by clicking the Blue GET TICKETS button. SUMMARY:“I am the Whore and the Holy Woman” - Unveiling the Divine Feminine in Esoteric Christianity
DESCRIPTION:“I am the Whore and the Holy Woman”\, “I am She\, the Lord…” These are quotes from an ancient Gnostic poem written in a female voice\, “The Thunder Perfect Mind”\, found in Egypt in 1945 as part of the Nag Hammadi codices. It is estimated to have been written around the 2nd to 4th century CE. \nWomen were a huge part of\, and equal partners in\, the early days and many sects of Christianity. Yeshua Ben Joseph – known also to many as Jesus Christ – was a true revolutionary in teaching to\, and having\, female disciples\, at a time when that was tantamount to heresy. \nTwo of the prominent female figures in early Christianity\, mentioned both in the canonical gospels (the gospels that form the modern bible)\, and even more extensively in the “gnostic” texts (a broad name for a number of gospels and texts intentionally left out of the bible and labeled as heretical)\, are Mary Magdalene and Mother Mary. They are labeled later in orthodox Christianity as Sinner and Saint\, Whore and Virgin. In this class\, we will explore what they have to teach us about the nature of Feminine Power\, and the suppression of it. Why it is feared\, reviled\, separated; and consigned into two categories that seriously limit its full expression\, even as they are also a part of it. We will explore the nature of some of these Gnostic texts and uncover the fundamental differences in numerous Christian sects that have shaped our mindset\, culture\, spiritual journey\, and the view of the Feminine for over 2\,000 years. \nYou will hear tales of Powers and Miracles from historical accounts and experiences following the Mary Magdalene trail through the south of France and Spain – places where their stories are still alive\, and their voices still echo. Join us for a fascinating and illuminating discussion. \nMonica Devi Bhakti is a co-founder of the Sacred Mountain Mystery School\, where together with Steve Wilson\, they create sacred spaces for deep transformational growth. Monica is a Psychic Therapist\, Soul Code Coach\, Heart-Centered Counselor\, Intuitive Reader\, Minister\, Somatic Healer & Transformational Retreat Leader. She has been helping people heal\, empower and free themselves for over 35 years. Specializing in working with Highly Sensitive individuals\, and those overcoming trauma\, Monica seeks to assist people in healing at the deepest levels. Working together to resolve blocks and release patterns\, so that you can embody your Essential Self – your divine blueprint – give the gifts you were born to give into the world\, and fulfill your destiny. When you experience true healing\, new pathways are created\, igniting passion and purpose. Addressing all aspects of being – physical\, mental\, emotional\, and spiritual\, she works with individuals and groups through sessions\, ceremony\, workshops\, and retreats to Sacred Sites. Most recently Monica has been called to lead retreats following the footsteps of Mary Magdalene through the sacred sites of Southern France.
