SUMMARY:Teaching Intensive (How to Teach)
DESCRIPTION:This is a special day for anyone who trains or teaches others\, in person or online. Some of Ardantane’s very best\, most experienced faculty will share techniques for creating great learning experiences. Among many topics: Where to Begin Class Design; The Importance of Hooks; Teaching to Three Levels of Self\, Participatory and Experiential Learning Activities; Sensing and Using Energy; Working with Visual\, Auditory\, and Kinesthetic Learners; Beyond Knowledge to Skills and Attitudes\, and Behaviors; and much\, much more. Led by Amber K\, who spent her career as a trainer for many government agencies and corporate entities\, she always aims to make courses fun\, student-centered\, and informative. \nThis is an all day program\, starting at 9AM and ending at 5PM. with a break for lunch. \nOne past student said\, “I have a Master’s in Teaching\, but learned more from this class about HOW to teach than I ever did in school!” \nParticipants are invited to participate in the follow-up session\, “How to Teach Online\,” 7-9 pm MT on December 9. The December 6 class is a prerequisite for Dec. 9. \nREGISTER BELOW. The cost is $100 for non-members\, or $80 for Ardantane Members. Questions? Through reflective journaling\, gentle ritual\, and shared discussion\, we’ll trace the paths that have led us away from and back toward our center\, weaving ancient symbolism with modern spiritual insight. This immersive session invites you to rediscover your sacred story\, reclaim your intuitive voice\, and reawaken the spark of magic that lives within your everyday life. \nJude Harrison\, MD’s eclectic spiritual path has grown through a wide variety of experiences from childhood to the present laced throughout with singing. He began creating and participating in rituals as a young child with his mom and friends\, continuing with his former coven\, his local community\, the southwest pagan community\, and the Order of Paladins as well as vision quests\, initiations\, and over a thousand hours of trainings in holistic and mind body medicine.
