DESCRIPTION:Dianic Wicca is a unique and highly influential branch of modern Witchcraft that has centered on the worship of the Goddess\, particularly in her feminine and earth-based forms. While Dianic Wicca today is often associated with feminist spirituality\, goddess worship\, and a specifically female-oriented practice of Witchcraft\, the history of the term “Dianic” is more complex and has evolved considerably over time. \nThis session will explore the history and transformation of the term Dianic\, how it has been used to define Witchcraft practices\, and how it intersects with feminist\, environmental\, and spiritual movements. \nMy Craft name is Kalisha Kfp\, though many of you also know me as Karen P. I have been a practicing witch since 1972 and I enjoy a 3rd degree or High Priestess status in several traditions including Gardnerian. My interest include Egyptology\, Speleology\, Archaeology/Anthropology\, Ancient religions & cultures\, Healing\, Herbs both magical & homeopathic\, Incense – history & use\, Mythology as relates to theology and psychology\, different types of magick\, and various forms of divination. I am a ravenous bookworm! \nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane. Others must register below.
