DESCRIPTION:We know Danu as the ancestral Celtic Mother Goddess and mother of the Irish Tuatha Dé Danann\, which means “tribe of Danu.” She is also known as Dana\, Anu\, and as her Welsh equivalent\, Dôn. However\, Danu is much older than the Irish mythological cycles or the Welsh Mabinogion. She is the oldest known Goddess in Europe and Asia\, revered from Ireland to the Black Sea. Join us as we explore this ancient water goddess\, the Source of all living things. \nJoin Lora Jackson Legare in her exploration of the Celtic Motehr Goddess. She has been a practicing Wiccan for 35 years. She is a professional archaeologist\, professor of anthropology\, artist and writer. She has led numerous public rituals in southern New Mexico and conducted workshops and classes on developing connections with Celtic Goddesses and Gods\, stone magick\, and magickal correspondences\, and led many guided meditations. \nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane.
