SUMMARY:Ethics Course Online
DESCRIPTION:This class is required for all certificate programs at Ardantane. It will cover ethics basics\, styles and definitions\, the history of the Rede\, a discussion of the Rede as an ethical system\, other systems used by Pagans\, analysis and discussion of ethical systems used by other cultures and religions\, case studies and ethical dilemmas. \nRowan has been active in the Pagan community of northern New Mexico for over 35 years. She is a third degree initiate of the Ladywood tradition and currently serves as the Dean of the School of Magick and Witchcraft at Ardantane. In her mundane life\, she holds a BS in education from UT El Paso\, and an MBA from UNM. She has taught at festivals in New Mexico and Colorado and nationally\, but enjoys teaching at Ardantane the most. \nLora Jackson Legare has been a practicing Wiccan for 35 years. She is a professional archaeologist\, professor of anthropology\, artist and writer. She has led numerous public rituals in southern New Mexico and conducted workshops and classes on developing connections with Celtic Goddesses and Gods\, stone magick\, and magickal correspondences\, and led many guided meditations. \nThere will be homework assignments between classes and time for questions and discussion. 8 Hours\, 4 classes 2 hrs. each. \nThe course fee is $80 for Ardantane Members\, and $100 for non-members.
