DESCRIPTION:Altars have served as places of spiritual power and religious focus for centuries. Many modern pagans have multiple altars in their homes\, on their land\, and even in their workspaces. How do we create altars? What objects can give your altars power and significance? In this session\, we will explore the history of altars\, the myriad ways to create altars\, and their value in your spiritual practice. \nLora Jackson Legare has been a practicing Wiccan for 35 years. She is a professional archaeologist\, professor of anthropology\, artist and writer. She has led numerous public rituals in southern New Mexico and conducted workshops and classes on developing connections with Celtic Goddesses and Gods\, stone magick\, and magickal correspondences\, and led many guided meditations. \nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane.
