SUMMARY:Folklore and Magick of Slovenia
DESCRIPTION:Slovenia is a small nation bordering Italy on the northeast\, with a deep and fascinating history\, wonderful people\, and stunning landcapes from the Piran seacoast to fertile vineyards to the Julian Alps. \nFour Pagans went there to explore\, and immersed themselves in the countryside and cities. They not only visited castles\, museums\, and caverns\, but met with some of the Elders of the Old Faiths in Slovenia. They brought back thousands of incredible photos\, and glimpses into the old religions in the predominately Catholic country. \nJoin Amber\, Azrael\, Charlie\, and Tara for this reprise of their adventures. \nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane. Others must register below. Be sure to add the number of tickets you want before clicking the Blue GET TICKETS button. The fee is $10. \nRegistration closes at 5PM Mountain Time on Thursday\, August 3rd.

SUMMARY:Temples and Shrines of the Ancient World
DESCRIPTION:Ancient Pagan temples were often very different from today’s mainstream-faith churches\, mosques\, synagogues. They were places to learn the Mysteries\, sacrifice to the old gods\, and even meet deity face-to-face. They also served as sanctuaries\, libraries\, and even treasuries. To modern Pagans accustomed to meeting in living rooms or backyards\, they often seem vast and otherworldly.  We will explore temples from the first known\, Gobekli Tepe in Anatolia\, to the Wat Samphran Dragon Temple\, the London Mithraeum\, a Norse God House\, and many more. You might even be inspired to build your own small temple! \nAmber K has been a Wiccan priestess for 45 years\, and loves to study the ancient Pagan faiths. \n\nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane. Others must register below. Be sure to add the number of tickets you want before clicking the Blue GET TICKETS button. The fee is $10. \nRegistration closes at 5PM Mountain Time on Thursday\, August 17th.
