DESCRIPTION:Contribute your energy\, time\, and talents to the upkeep of our beautiful campus near Jemez Springs\, New Mexico. We work from 8:00 or 9:00 AM\, depending on the season… starting earlier in summer\, later in winter. We begin with a simple opening ceremony\, and end sometime in the afternoon\, usually around 4:00 PM—but you can come at any time during the day. (Some folks do special projects at other times\, to fit their personal schedules\, by arrangement with the Director.) \nVolunteers who work a “full” day—six hours or more—receive $40 in Beaver Bucks (applicable to any Ardantane event fee). Those who work 3-4 hours receive $20 in Beaver Bucks. First-timers are awarded the Blessed Beaver patch (embroidered emblem) to wear proudly on a cap or work shirt. Everyone receives free lunch and beverages\, as well as healthy exercise and camaraderie. \nBring your sun hat and work gloves (we have loaners if you need them). \nContact Azrael Arryn K at azraelak@gmail.com for directions and information. SUMMARY:Steel and Silver: Magickal Activism for Treacherous Times
DESCRIPTION:Do you feel impelled to take action to protect our democracy? Do you want to preserve our constitutional freedoms and promote social justice? This workshop will help you know some of the basics of community organizing and activism\, but with a twist: adding real magick at every step to make your work more powerful and effective. She has worked with Circle and the Re-Formed Congregation of the Goddess\, and served as National First Officer of the Covenant of the Goddess for three terms. She is a founder of Our Lady of the Woods and the Ladywood Tradition of Wicca\, and currently is Executive Director of Ardantane\, a Wiccan/Pagan seminary is northern New Mexico. \nAzrael Arynn K is a third-degree Wiccan Priestess and High Priest of the Coven of Our Lady of the Woods\, and has also held offices in the Covenant of the Goddess. SUMMARY:Communicating with Nature Spirits
DESCRIPTION:Who are the dryads\, the oreads\, the nymphs and naiads? Can we communicate with the spirits of trees\, streams and rivers\, mountains\, and wild animals? Do individual parts of nature speak to us\, and if so\, what languages do they use? How can we cultivate our abilities to observe\, listen\, and understand what these spirits share with us? Join Amber K in this thoughtful exploration and discussion of our relationships with nature… as companion\, teacher\, and foundation of our lives. Be prepared to share your stories of your encounters outside the human world. \nAmber K is a third degree priestess of the Wiccan faith. She is a professional archaeologist\, professor of anthropology\, artist and writer. She has led numerous public rituals in southern New Mexico and conducted workshops and classes on developing connections with Celtic Goddesses and Gods\, stone magick\, and magickal correspondences\, and led many guided meditations. \nThis class is free to supporting members of Ardantane. Others must register  below. Be sure to add the number of tickets you want before clicking the Blue GET TICKETS button. The fee is $10. \nRegistration closes at 5PM Mountain Time on Thursday\, April 24th. \n(Note: This is an ONLINE session. We also have an in-person Beltane ritual scheduled for Saturday April 26th.
