DESCRIPTION:There have been more bills concerning youth and gender in the first 6 months of 2023 than the last 5 years combined. Most people truly want what’s best for our children. The Conflict is\, What IS best? I’ll share what research I’ve found on: \n*Factors effecting mental health in transgender and gender expansive youth \n*How policies based on those factors may effect non-transgender youth \n*The complexity of factors effecting athletic performance \nJude B. Harrison\, MD  he/him\, is Director and Co-Founder of 4STAR: 4 Corners Support for Transgender people\, Allies\, and Relatives\, a Transgender man\, and serves on the Colorado Medical Society Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion committee. He provides Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Advocacy and Education regionally. Clients include law enforcement\, health care\, businesses\, non-profits\, service organizations\, and spiritual groups.
