Hoarding and Stuff

June 12 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$10

We pagans sure do like our toys, books, costumes and whatnot. Yet we know that all we really need to do effective work is our mind and body. Why, then, do we surround ourselves with more than we need? Join two committed declutters to learn about the practical and psychological reasons why it is so hard to release what we no longer need or use, how to release it ethically and more.

Woman with glasses, shoulder-length brown hair, glasses, and a turquoise and silver necklace.Sterling has a BA in Psychology for the University of Colorado Denver and a MS in Occupational Health and Safety from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She also has extensive Master’s work in cognitive behavior, addiction recovery and psychological counseling. Aside from studying and practicing Wicca, Sterling is an accomplished horticulturalist with credentials from the American Rose Society (judge and consulting rosarian). She is an active amateur musician, playing piccolo, flute and alto flute. If she has any time left in her day, she is dabbling in herbology or in some art project; tie dying fabric goods, painting, jewelry, paper and metal craft. Sterling lives in Bloomfield, CO with her husband Jerry, and their pets…never a dull moment in their home.

Rowan has been active in the pagan community of northern New Mexico for over 35 years. She is a third degree initiate of the Ladywoods tradition and currently serves as the Dean of the School of Magick and Witchcraft at Ardantane. In her mundane life, she holds a BS in education from UT El Paso, and an MBA from UNM. She has taught at festivals in New Mexico and Colorado and nationally, but enjoys teaching at Ardantane the most.

This class is free to supporting members of Ardantane.  Others must register below by clicking the Blue GET TICKETS button. The fee is $10.
