Ardantane Hosts Yule Celebration

The public is invited to an open Yule (Winter Solstice) celebration at the Ardantane campus, on Saturday December 17 at 6:30 pm.
The specific theme changes from year to year, but always includes recognizing the longest night of the year, and the rebirth of the sun as the days grow longer. Past themes have also focused on things important to our ancestors’ celebrations such as the wassail cup tradition, decorating the World Tree, following the caribou migrations, and more.
However, there will certainly be singing, stories, a tree to embellish, and a feast afterward. Bring a dish or beverage to share! Families are welcome; there is no charge, though donations are always helpful.
