How to Heal with the Gods and Goddesses

We all cope with “the ills that flesh is heir to,” attending to our illnesses, injuries, and “owies” with modern medicine and ancient healing techniques. Yet how well do we enlist allies from the world of Spirit for this? Based on their book Healing with the Gods and Goddesses: Divine Allies on Your Journey to Health, Amber and Azrael will explore which deities are known as healers, and how we can work with them to get better. And better, and better.
Amber K and Azrael Arynn K are priestesses of the Wiccan faith, as well as authors and teachers. They have more than 75 years of combined experience as clergy. They are fascinated by the technology of the sacred—how magick works—and how to share this in ritual design and through their teaching.
Amber was initiated at the Temple of the Pagan Way in Chicago in 1978, and is co-founder of the Ladywood Tradition of Wicca. She served three terms as National First Officer of Covenant of the Goddess, the largest federation of Witches’ covens and solitary Witches.
Azrael Arynn K is a celebrated author, teacher, ritualist, and leader within the Pagan community. She has degrees in criminal justice, law, and architecture. They were handfasted in 1994, were married a few years later, and live and work together at Ardantane Pagan school and retreat center in northern New Mexico. Currently Amber is Executive Director and Dean of the School of Pagan Leadership, while Azrael is Dean of the School of Sacred Living and Director of Facilities. See ardantane.org.
Amber K is the author of True Magick: A Beginner’s Guide, and Stone Witchery and Divination, among others. Azrael designs, co-authors, and edits books with Amber, including the award-winning books RitualCraft: Creating Rites for Transformation and Celebration; and Pinups Portraits and Posters: The Life and Art of Bill Randall (Amber’s dad). See their other titles at magickwithamberk.com.
