Youth and Gender: A Nation in Conflict

There have been more bills concerning youth and gender in the first 6 months of 2023 than the last 5 years combined. Most people truly want what’s best for our children. The Conflict is, What IS best? I’ll share what research I’ve found on:
*Factors effecting mental health in transgender and gender expansive youth
*How policies based on those factors may effect non-transgender youth
*The complexity of factors effecting athletic performance
Jude B. Harrison, MD he/him, is Director and Co-Founder of 4STAR: 4 Corners Support for Transgender people, Allies, and Relatives, a Transgender man, and serves on the Colorado Medical Society Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. He provides Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Advocacy and Education regionally.
