October 7, 7-9 PM
Let us explore where we came from, and what our past can teach us of the present and future. Along the way, we will look at human evolution and prehistory, and discuss ways that we can honor our forebears while enriching our own lives, through tributes, storytelling, shrines, offerings, and pilgrimages.
We will muse upon Christopher Penczak’s categories of ancestors, and think upon the legacies we will gift to the world when we join them. The evening will be a blend of science, genealogy, spiritual practice, and expanding our knowledge of who we are, based on where we came from.
Though the evening is more presentation than sharing, you are welcome to share a brief bio of one of your most intriguing ancestors, in the Chat. “Those who are remembered, live.”
Your presenter is Amber K, priestess, author, and Executive Director of Ardantane.
Amber K is the author of True Magick and has co-authored other books on the Craft and magick with Azrael Arynn K, including the new edition of CovenCraft, Candlemas, The Heart of Tarot, and the award-winning RitualCraft. She is also the Executive Director of Ardantane, and Dean of the School of Pagan Leadership.
This class is free to supporting members of Ardantane. Others must register at https://ardantane.org/event/touching-the-past-honoring-our-ancestors/. Be sure to add the number of tickets you want before clicking the Blue GET TICKETS button. The fee is $10.
